EV․app 1.3.22 is mostly about fixes. It runs reliably on iOS 27, referral codes now work when you sign up with Apple, Google or Facebook, and BEST.match no longer points you to chargers that are out of order. Here's what changed, and what it means for you at the charger.
On iPhones updated to iOS 27, the previous version of the app could crash. We've fixed it: the new version is built for the new system.
If you're on an iPhone running iOS 27, don't put this update off.
Until now, referral codes didn't always carry over when you signed up with a social account, and on iOS the code screen sometimes didn't show up at all. That's sorted.
If you sign up with Apple, Google or Facebook without a code, the app asks for one right after registration.
We've also fixed how the referral reward is credited, and the text that goes with it.
Good to know: your own 10-character referral code is in your profile, on the referral banner.
BEST.match picks a charger based on your car's specs, your current and target battery level, availability, charging speed and cost. Availability had a gap: now and then, a charger the network had marked as out of order made it into the recommendations.
That was our mistake, and it's fixed. If the network marks a charger as out of order, BEST.match won't recommend it.
The app uses your location to see which charger you're standing at. When your GPS position didn't update, in some cases the session wouldn't start. We've fixed how your location updates, so sessions start with a more accurate position.
The route planner got a fix too: adding a car from there now works without a hitch.
Open the App Store or Google Play, search for EV․app and tap Update. That's it.
If you use EV․app and have half a minute, a Google Play or App Store review helps us a lot. It tells us what's working and what still needs polishing.
Happy charging!
