Pricing in EV․app

Energy fee, service fee and card hold — explained clearly.

The charging cost is made up of two items.

The energy fee is the cost of the charge itself. The service fee is added at the end of the session.

Item 1

Energy fee

You pay for what you charge

Energy is measured and billed in kilowatt-hours (kWh).

Varies by charging point

The price is shown on the map for every charging point, before you start.

Item 2

Service fee

EV․app’s fee

The service fee is added to the energy fee at the end of the session.

No hidden charges

The exact amount is shown in the app before you start.

A card hold is not a charge.

It’s a security step before the session starts. You can see the hold amount before you begin charging.

Visible before you start

The hold amount is shown on the recommendation cards in map view before you start charging.

Only the actual cost is charged

At the end of the session, only the actual cost of the charge is deducted.

No charge for the difference

If the hold was higher than what you actually charged, the difference is never charged to you.

Released within 15 minutes

We notify your bank to release the hold within 15 minutes of the session ending.
